Which sex do you feel gets more encouragement in society in general, men or women, boys or girls?

Which one do you think? And why do you think that? Can you give examples?

i’m a feminist. a lot of people judge me when i say that, and they think i think women are supreme when in fact, i really don’t at all, and i don’t give off that impression either. they just assume because i say feminist, i’m more for women because they don’t actually understand the meaning. i believe in equality for BOTH genders.

women still face issues such as judgment for certain choices, glass ceiling in the office, certain images projected from the media, and more. it’s hard. there’s a lot to support them though, and that’s great, but still hard.

men, because they didn’t go through a period where they couldn’t vote or they were repressed, don’t get as much support. and this is what bugs me. guys have it hard. they have such hard standards to live up to- to be buff, strong, blahblah yet sometimes sensitive and all that crap. i honestly feel bad for guys because of the standards for them, and in general, it doesn’t seem like they get enough help for it. i hate it when people only talk about domestic abuse for women when it happens to guys, too. i’m sure it happens more often than people think, they just don’t report it because of the judgment they’d feel and the fact that a lot of people don’t pay attention to male abuse. they think men are naturally stronger and can’t be abused, or that they can’t be raped (people have said this to me) but it’s not true. it’s hard for guys, and not very many people seem to pay attention to that fact.
