can you paint the side of a box truck?

I am looking at purchasing a box truck. It has a big doughnut on each side of it professionally done like an entenmanns doughnut billboard kind of like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/earlyriserjr/3868408351/ only it’s a ford box truck not an 18 wheeler.
the price is right on it but i own a flooring store. can i just paint that white with exterior paint to get a smooth white look?

Um…no. You need automotive paint. A vehicle that has been painted with house paint looks REALLY bad, and as a business owner, that is the last thing you need your delivery truck to be…hideously ugly.
